Obstetrical Care
New Woman Medical Care understands that the birth of a baby is one of the most meaningful events a family can experience. We offer complete prenatal care, delivery and post partum care, including ultrasounds, nonstress tests, prenatal bloodwork and biophysical profiles.
In the first weeks of your pregnancy, you will be scheduled for a visit with our OB nurse who will take a complete medical history; provide you with information on obstetrical anesthesia, natural childbirth, labor, delivery and breastfeeding; discuss physical and emotional changes you can expect and explain to you the schedule of office visits you will have during your pregnancy. She will also help you complete the necessary paperwork for our office and the hospital.
Once you have met with the OB nurse, you will be scheduled for your first pre-natal appointment with one of our obstetricians. You will then have regular appointments with the physicians for the entire length of your pregnancy. An ultrasound is usually scheduled around week 20 of your pregnancy in order to view fetal development. In the final weeks of your pregnancy you will see the physician on a weekly basis up until delivery.
New Woman Medical Care Associates encourages you to take advantage of the videotapes and reading materials that are available to you throughout your pregnancy. Please feel free to ask to view them anytime you visit our office.
While we do not practice general medicine, we will handle most medical problems during your pregnancy or make referrals for problems outside our areas of specialty. We are happy to answer any questions or concerns that you may have, and we encourage active participation of the baby's father.

Gynecological Care
In order to monitor your health, we recommend an annual comprehensive examination, including a discussion with your physician, pelvic exam and Pap smear, breast exam, blood pressure evaluation, check of weight and height, appropriate laboratory testing and self-breast examination instruction. Our physicians follow the American Cancer Society guidelines for mammograms.

BOTOX® Injections
BOTOX® Cosmetic is approved for the temporary treatment of moderate to severe frown lines between the brows in people ages 18–65.
Important Safety Information
Serious heart problems and serious allergic reactions have been reported rarely. If you think you’re having an allergic reaction or other reactions, such as difficulty swallowing, speaking or breathing, call your doctor immediately. The most common side effects following injection include temporary eyelid droop and nausea. Localized pain, infection, inflammation, tenderness, swelling, redness, and/or bleeding/bruising may be associated with the injection. Patients with certain neuromuscular disorders such as ALS, myasthenia gravis, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome may be at increased risk of serious side effects.
BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered by physicians and is available only by prescription. Please see the full prescribing information.

Restylane® Injections
FDA approved Restylane® offers longer lasting facial rejuvination and wrinkle reduction.
Restylane® improves the resilience and youthful contours of your skin and its ability to counter the effects of gravity, time, wind and weather. Restylane® plays an important role giving volume to the skin, shape to the eyes and elasticity to the joints. Restylane®, composed of Hyaluronic Acid, is found naturally in your skin and other tissues. Hyaluronic Acid has a chemical structure similar in many ways to sugar and is identical in all species and in all tissue types, making Restylane® a very safe product for you.
Each of us has natural lines that can be improved. Restylane® can be used to give you a long-lasting and natural beauty lift: smoothing wrinkles and folds, and gives your mouth a fuller, more sensuous appearance, and makes your lips more luscious.
Combine your Restylane® treatment with your BOTOX ® Cosmetic treatment for a 'BOTOX®-Filler Facelift!'. For the first time, we have achieved the "fountain of youth" in a syringe! Schedule your complimentary consultation today, to see if you would benefit from a combination of these two impressive procedures. You have nothing to lose but your wrinkles!

Perlane® Injections
Perlane® is the newest dermal filler used to treat deep wrinkles and facial folds. Perlane® is made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance in the skin that gives skin its volume and shape.
Additional procedures that may enhance the results of Perlane® include Brow Lift, Eyelid Lift, Facelift, Botox®, or Facial Fat Injections.
